I didn’t think Maryland was very far, but it’s actually more than a half day’s drive from our house (which is why I have a rental car) so that’s nothing compared to the days we did travel. Plus, it was a very cold night, so the car ride was uncomfortable. Maryland is actually quite a bit further away than I expected, so I’ll stop there for the night.
Maryland was actually one of my favorite parts of the trip. We could have been stuck in a time loop for days on end, so at least I had a place to go to after we left the car, and it was quite pleasant. But I’m hoping it gets a bit colder soon.
In the meantime, the sun will slowly set here in Baltimore, and the cold air and cold temperatures will cause you to get a cold and a fever. There is a lot to do in Maryland, and it’s also a very rural area, so if you decide to stay, you should really do a lot of exploring and visiting. I think Maryland is a great place to live, but I would still recommend visiting some of the other states that are closer to the coast in this area.
One of the most pleasant aspects of living in Maryland is just being part of the state. Not only do I have the best of all possible reasons to visit, Maryland is just the best state. If you don’t know how to play golf, I suggest you rent a golf cart and go exploring during the winter. The weather is always nice here, so if you don’t want to get sick, I recommend visiting some of the parks and beaches, or maybe just walking around the state at night.
