I love jolene’s, especially when they are in-season. I often buy fresh jolene’s at our farmers’ markets, and I get them at the grocery store too. One thing I love about jolene’s is that you can pick your own vegetables – there is no pressure. I pick one ingredient that I think will go nicely with jolene’s: radishes.
Like most vegetables picked specifically for that vegetable, there are dozens of recipes for jolenes. The only thing you’ll generally need to know is to pick out a vegetable that can be eaten raw or cooked.
I have never had a jolenes before, but I have heard that they are really delicious. I just bought two a few weeks ago, and I will probably go back to pick out another one.
I think jolenes would be my first choice, but they are so sweet! I will probably have to wait until after Easter to make them again.
The first time I heard of jolenes was when I was a kid and I saw a jolen on TV. I thought it was cute, but it was awful. I thought it was really disgusting, but it was really tasty. I was really happy with the taste, but I got a bunch of nasty nasty taste from the jolenes. I ended up having to do a whole bunch of things to make them sweeter, so it’s been really hard on myself.
I am convinced that jolenes originated in the Philippines and not in California, and that the jolenes were originally delicious, but over time the taste has degraded beyond the liking and I have to constantly add sugar and other spices to it.
That’s really bad news. I do believe jolenes are native to the Philippines, but the ones I tried were really salty and over-sweet, and I’m not sure if that’s what caused the problem. I’m not sure that the fact that it was pretty good has anything to do with it, but I guess it could be.
